Don’t Overfill the Pot
One of the most common mistakes is overfilling the pressure cooker. If the pot is too full, there won’t be enough space for steam to build up properly. This can lead to pressure malfunctions or even cause food to block the safety valves. As a safety rule, never fill the pot more than ⅔ full or only ½ full for foods that foam or expand, like rice or soup.
Use Enough Liquid
